If our traffic is in your logs, here's what it is.
This page exists so you can look up our user agent, decide we're fine, and move on — without opening a ticket.
User agent
policy-monitor/0.1 (+https://isittrainingonme.com/bot; monitoring public policy pages; contact: contact@isittrainingonme.com)
What it fetches
Public privacy policies, terms of service, data processing addenda, and similar legal pages — the same pages any visitor to your site can read without logging in. It does not crawl your product, your app, or anything behind authentication. It reads one URL per registered source and stops.
How often
Weekly — every Monday at 06:00 UTC, run as a single scheduled batch job, not a continuous crawl. Between runs it makes zero requests to your domain.
Rate
At least 2 seconds between requests to the same host, one page per source per week. In practice this means a handful of requests to your domain, once a week, at most.
robots.txt
Honoured before every fetch. If your robots.txt disallows the pages we'd otherwise read, we don't read them — no override, no exception list.
Why we're reading your policy
We publish a public record of what companies' own published terms say about training AI models on user data, and whether — and how — you can opt out. Every claim we publish quotes your policy's own words, dated, with an archived copy behind it. We never paraphrase and we never infer what a document doesn't say.
Something look wrong, or want us to stop?
Disallowing us in robots.txt is honoured automatically. For anything else — a wrong quote, a dead link, a question about a specific fetch —contact@isittrainingonme.com reaches a person, not a form queue.
