Privacy is being quietly repriced as a paid feature.
Companies have stopped announcing that they train on your data. Instead the switch is on when you arrive, and whether you're allowed to turn it off now depends on what you pay. We read the terms, quote them exactly, date them, and keep a copy.

Not one of them asked first. Usually the setting exists — it's simply already on, and on the cheaper plans it doesn't move.
How this is calculated ↓
"Train on you by default" counts a verdict once if its most-reachable consumer plan's default state istrains_with_optout or trains_no_optout. "Paid plan" counts a verdict with any tier marked privacy_paywall: true. A verdict last checked more than 180 days ago is excluded from every count above — it still renders on the site, visibly stale, until it's re-checked.
