How to stop Eufy training AI on your data
What the policy itself says, plan by plan. Where Eufy publishes the steps, they're here in its own words, read from an archived copy of the page that gives them. Where it doesn't, this page says so instead of inventing a menu path.

This entry said on 31 August that the policy contained "exactly one training statement". It contains three, and the fault was ours: Anker renders these sections as bare divs, and the text extractor behind these readings dropped them. It was fixed and the page re-captured on 1 September. The three are the clause below, a purposes cell in the Community Forum row scoped to "public materials only"; a product-testing permission on the JML platform, where video, audio or image data you "voluntarily provide, such as audio wake-up words" is "used for model training"; and a generative-AI one, where turning on the User experience Improvement Program or submitting feedback lets Anker "collect your designs and uploaded images to improve our AI models". Each is gated on something the customer volunteers for, and none of them is about the cameras. There is also a narrow promise in the other direction: text requests to the Anka assistant are stored to improve results, "However, this data will not be used for training purposes." For the cameras — the product people buy — the document still states no training use and no commitment against one. Its camera and biometric sections describe familiar-face recognition as on-device, "We do not store or have access to this biometric data", which would not make this an A in any case: a stated inability must cover the company's whole reach, and cloud-stored subscriber video carries no such statement. Three permissions scoped away from the footage, and silence on the footage, is the finding.
