How to stop Expedia training AI on your data

What the policy itself says, plan by plan. Where Expedia publishes the steps, they're here in its own words, read from an archived copy of the page that gives them. Where it doesn't, this page says so instead of inventing a menu path.

All accounts (Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo)

The UK statement, 279 paragraphs saved by hand on 6 September 2026, carries a section headed "Our use of artificial intelligence" with a table of purposes: pricing, fraud detection, "feature generation ... to enrich other applications such as embeddings", and auto-moderation of listings and reviews. That is data going into AI systems; whether any model is trained on it is not said. "Training" appears fourteen times in the page and every one is staff training, information-security training or call recording for quality control. Chats with the AI assistant are collected as communications. Unresolved: the section describes uses, not training.
