How to stop Khan Academy training AI on your data

What the policy itself says, plan by plan. Where Khan Academy publishes the steps, they're here in its own words, read from an archived copy of the page that gives them. Where it doesn't, this page says so instead of inventing a menu path.

All accounts (learners and teachers)

The one training statement in this capture is a real protection, and a better one than most entries here: Khan Academy says its service agreements do not permit the providers of the AI models behind its features to train on Input data. But it is scoped to those providers. The policy never says whether Khan Academy itself uses learner input to train or fine-tune anything, and an assurance about a supplier is not an assurance about the party giving it. Recorded as unresolved rather than graded B, because grading it good would credit the document with a promise it does not make.
