How to stop Mistral AI training AI on your data
What the policy itself says, plan by plan. Where Mistral AI publishes the steps, they're here in its own words, read from an archived copy of the page that gives them. Where it doesn't, this page says so instead of inventing a menu path.
Consumer accounts — European Union
Where Mistral AI says the switch is, in its own words. Each list is read from a dated, archived copy of the page it links to. Menus move. If a step is out of date, tell us at the foot of this page.
- Open Settings.
- Under Account, select Data & Account Controls.
- Untick "Enable data sharing".
"deselect the Enable data sharing checkbox to opt out of Mistral's training program"
Applies from the point you opt out; Mistral's terms say removal from a model already trained has technical limits.
"We do not use Your Data to train our artificial intelligence models except (a) when you have not opted out of training or (b) when you provide Feedback to us."
