What the policy itself says, plan by plan. Where NordVPN publishes the steps, they're here in its own words, read from an archived copy of the page that gives them. Where it doesn't, this page says so instead of inventing a menu path.

The Nord Account privacy policy (last updated 20 July 2026), printed to PDF by hand on 6 September 2026 because the page is a JavaScript app with nothing in its HTML, mentions machine learning once: the bank-monitoring feature retrieves transaction history and runs "an automated analysis, which may include machine learning, to derive statistical patterns that represent typical account activity". That is a model applied to your data to serve you, not a statement that your data trains one. No form of "train" and no "artificial intelligence" appears. Unresolved.
