How to stop Perplexity training AI on your data

- Open your Account settings.
- Go to the Preferences page.
- Switch off the AI data retention toggle.
"Navigate to your Account settings Go to the Preferences page Locate the AI data retention toggle If the toggle is enabled, your data is being collected for AI training Toggle off to opt out of AI training data collection"
Applies to data collected after you switch it off. Perplexity says earlier training data can't be removed.
"Improve or create services and products, including our AI models."

Nothing to switch off: Perplexity's policy says training is off here.
"We do not use the content of emails to create, train, improve, or fine-tune AI models."
