How to stop Starling Bank training AI on your data
What the policy itself says, plan by plan. Where Starling Bank publishes the steps, they're here in its own words, read from an archived copy of the page that gives them. Where it doesn't, this page says so instead of inventing a menu path.

Re-read on 7 October 2026 against Starling's AI privacy notice, which this entry hadn't used. It answers half the question. Outside companies are ruled out: "no external AI models are trained using Starling data". Starling's own models aren't mentioned. What it stores about how you use its AI features stays at Starling, and "we only use it to improve our features", which may or may not include training. The main privacy notice lists AI uses without saying whether your data builds anything, and both its "train" and "training" are about staff. Starling's press releases of June 2025 and March 2026 say data in its AI tools "is not used for training purposes". Neither notice says that.
