How to stop Grammarly training AI on your data
What the policy itself says, plan by plan. Where Grammarly publishes the steps, they're here in its own words, read from an archived copy of the page that gives them. Where it doesn't, this page says so instead of inventing a menu path.
Free & Premium (individual accounts)
Where Grammarly says the switch is, in its own words. Each list is read from a dated, archived copy of the page it links to. Menus move. If a step is out of date, tell us at the foot of this page.
- Go to account.grammarly.com/security/privacy.
- Click the "Product Improvement and Training" toggle to switch it off.
"Click the "Product Improvement and Training" toggle to change its setting."
On by default for individual accounts. On a single-user Pro account the same toggle is at account.grammarly.com/admin/data_settings.
"You can decide whether Superhuman can use your user content to train our AI models by adjusting the available training control(s) in your account settings."
Did a step here not work, or does Grammarly offer a control this page doesn't mention? Tell us and we'll correct it.
