How to stop Manus training AI on your data

What the policy itself says, plan by plan. Where Manus publishes the steps, they're here in its own words, read from an archived copy of the page that gives them. Where it doesn't, this page says so instead of inventing a menu path.

Manus's privacy policy, revised 28 September 2026, now answers part of the question. Personal information turned into "de-identified and/or anonymized" data may be used "to analyze, improve, develop and protect the Service, including to develop and improve our models and related technologies". The same paragraph adds: "Depending on your jurisdiction, you may opt out by contacting us at the email address provided below." Which jurisdictions, it doesn't say. The deletion section mentions content that's been de-identified "when you allow us to use your content to improve our models". That reads like a setting, and the policy doesn't name it or say which way it ships. Prompts still go to third-party AI providers, who "may infer information about you". The entry stays UNCLEAR while Manus is asked about the setting, because this site writes to a company before it publishes an adverse finding about it.
