How to stop TikTok training AI on your data
What the policy itself says, plan by plan. Where TikTok publishes the steps, they're here in its own words, read from an archived copy of the page that gives them. Where it doesn't, this page says so instead of inventing a menu path.

The route TikTok gives, in its own words. There's no switch, so this is a request it has said it will act on. Each list is read from a dated, archived copy of the page it links to. If the address or form has moved, tell us at the foot of this page.
- Open TikTok's right-to-object page at tiktok.com/legal/right-to-object, or its privacy webform at tiktok.com/legal/report/privacy.
- Object to the use of your information to train, test and improve its machine learning models, which it processes under legitimate interests.
"Whenever we use your information on the basis that it is necessary for legitimate interests, you can object to, and request restriction of, such usage."
This is the EEA policy. The objection is the statutory right, not a switch, and TikTok can refuse where it shows overriding grounds.
"Review, improve, and develop the Platform, including by monitoring interactions and usage across your devices, analysing how people are using it, and by training, testing, and improving our technology, such as our machine learning models and algorithms."
