The clause appears word for word in Hinge's policy, which is the same corporate group, and the second mention is the Match Group formula about data that "cannot identify or be attributed specifically to you" being used to create new technologies "including through machine learning". Machine learning is named as a means of building features. What is never said is whether what members write and upload is what it learns from. This entry was nearly filed as an adverse grade on a first pass; reading the two policies side by side is what showed the clause describes a method rather than an input.
