This is an extract from an archived copy, fetched 1 October 2026. QuillBot didn't author this page for us. It's a snapshot we captured from https://help.quillbot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056530894-How-does-Quillbot-use-my-data. We hold the whole page and publish this part of it: the sentence a verdict rests on, with the text either side, so you can see it hasn't been lifted out of an exception.
The passage, in context
For extensions users on versions 4.37.0 or above, we offer two data controls to opt out of: (1) allowing Quillbot to store text inputs (all users) and (2) allowing Quillbot to use text inputs to train the models that power our AI tools (available to account-holders). When storage is on, Quillbot can provide a more consistent, high-quality, and personalized experience. To provide the best user experience, storing text inputs will be on by default for everyone. Note that when you make a selection or change to your controls it applies to your account settings from that point forward. To make or change your opt-out choices, open your Extension Settings or Popup Menu , click on View All Settings , and navigate to the Data and Privacy menu.

Checking the rest of it
The complete page is kept here and isn't republished. It's QuillBot's copyrighted document, and an extract is what a reader needs to check a quotation. The SHA-256 above is of that whole snapshot: fetch the page yourself, hash it, and you can tell whether ours has been altered without having to trust us.
If you work for QuillBot, or you are researching this and need the full capture, ask us for it and we will send it. If you believe a quote here is wrong or out of date, send us the paragraph. The correction gets published beside the clause.
