Legal basis for using your data: When we invite you to provide feedback, it's because we, and you as a member, have a legitimate interest in improving Vinted. When you choose to take part in our feedback projects, we rely on your consent to use your data for this purpose.

We continually improve Vinted's internal technologies to make them smarter, safer and more efficient - helping us provide our services, enhance them, and keep the platform secure.

This includes developing tools such as internal machine learning models. We do not commercialise these models - that is, we neither sell them nor make them otherwise available to third parties. We only use them to the extent necessary to deliver and improve the services you signed up for, and to help keep Vinted secure - for example, to enhance your member experience when uploading or searching for items, or to support security measures like fraud detection and prevention (as described earlier in our Privacy Policy).

To develop these models, we use information that does not contain personal data - for example, item photos or descriptions (category, price, colour, brand, size, condition, etc.).

For marketing purposes

We use your data to keep you in the loop with updates about Vinted, including news, offers, and other information we think you'll find useful. We also run promotional campaigns, competitions, referral programs, and social media initiatives to grow our community. By using your data, we can make these activities more relevant and engaging for you.
