How to stop Chegg training AI on your data
What the policy itself says, plan by plan. Where Chegg publishes the steps, they're here in its own words, read from an archived copy of the page that gives them. Where it doesn't, this page says so instead of inventing a menu path.
All accounts
No opt-out is offered on All accounts. The quoted clause above is what we found. There's no setting, form or support route that overrides it.
"We and/or our business partners may use the personal data you provide through AI Functions to improve our services, including to train or fine-tune our artificial intelligence and machine learning models."
Users Chegg knows to be under 18
Nothing to switch off: Chegg's policy says training is off here.
"We do not use content submitted by users we know to be under 18 to train or improve any artificial intelligence model, and we do not disclose that content to third parties for their own purposes."
Did a step here not work, or does Chegg offer a control this page doesn't mention? Tell us and we'll correct it.
