This is an extract from an archived copy, fetched 7 September 2026. You.com didn't author this page for us. It's a snapshot we captured from https://you.com/legal/privacy. We hold the whole page and publish this part of it: the sentence a verdict rests on, with the text either side, so you can see it hasn't been lifted out of an exception.
The entry cited this capture from 7 September 2026 until 10 September 2026, when the document was re-read; it now cites the capture of 1 October 2026. This page stays so that anything that linked it still works.
The passage, in context
Third Party Service Collections . We will not use any third-party services (e.g. DropBox, Google Drive, or Microsoft Sharepoint, etc.) to collect information without explicit permission. Personal data collected through these services may include information to help us identify your account, prompts, content created or shared by you, or feedback that you provide to our Services. This data will not be used for developing, improving, or training third party AI and/or ML models. To the extent we transfer any data to our third-party AI providers, it is solely data which our users have represented they have the right to transfer, and to which transfer our users consent. For instance, if a user creates a document on a platform like Google or Microsoft, the user represents that he/she has the ownership and/or rights in that document to upload it to our app, and by uploading it, the user consents based on our internal processes to share it with our third-party AI providers.

Checking the rest of it
The complete page is kept here and isn't republished. It's You.com's copyrighted document, and an extract is what a reader needs to check a quotation. The SHA-256 above is of that whole snapshot: fetch the page yourself, hash it, and you can tell whether ours has been altered without having to trust us.
If you work for You.com, or you are researching this and need the full capture, ask us for it and we will send it. If you believe a quote here is wrong or out of date, send us the paragraph. The correction gets published beside the clause.
