Does Klarna train on your data?
Klarna's UK privacy page is an overview that defers, twice, to a Privacy Notice on a host that disallows this monitor. What the notice says about training has not been read here.
Corrected 14 September 2026. The page captured at klarna.com/uk/privacy-policy is not the notice: it is a 74-paragraph overview, "Privacy you can count on", whose only "AI" is marketing chrome about an assistant resolving 300,000 issues a week, and which twice sends the reader to "our Privacy Notice" for the reasons data is collected and used. That notice lives on cdn.klarna.com, in a UK edition and a US one, and the host's robots.txt disallows this monitor, so neither has been read by it; both are registered and recorded as blocked. Until a person saves the notice by hand, the silence finding is about the overview, and the entry says so.
- Klarna privacy overview page, "Privacy you can count on", captured 2026-09-10 (https://www.klarna.com/uk/privacy-policy/); the Privacy Notice it links on cdn.klarna.com is disallowed to the monitor by robots.txt and unread

The single "AI" match is a marketing line in the page chrome advertising Klarna's AI assistant, not policy text.

How to opt out of Klarna AI training
Plan by plan, from what Klarna's own policy says about refusing. Where it publishes the steps, they're listed here with the limits they carry. Where there's nothing to switch off, or nothing graded, this says so instead of inventing a menu path.

What this policy has done since we started watching
No change detected. We've held a copy of Klarna's policy since 17 Aug 2026 and re-read it since, across 2 captures. The text hasn't moved in a way that touches this verdict. That's a fact about the document, and it's only knowable by having kept the earlier copies.
