Does WHOOP train on your data?
WHOOP's policy promises never to sell your data and sends you to another page for WHOOP Coach, the AI feature. Whether your data trains anything is answered there or nowhere.
This clause is real, but it doesn't resolve the training question - see the finding below.
"For more information about how these principles apply to WHOOP Coach, please read here ."

Why this is still UNCLEAR: The policy is built around seven privacy principles and, on the AI feature, says only: "For more information about how these principles apply to WHOOP Coach, please read here." That page is not in this capture. The document itself, 177 paragraphs saved by hand on 6 September 2026, contains no "train", "model", "machine learning" or "artificial intelligence"; "training" appears twice, both times meaning your workouts. Research and development is named as a purpose "in a de-identified or aggregated form". The answer, if WHOOP gives one, is in the Coach page; this site has not read it and does not infer it.
What each plan can refuse

How to opt out of WHOOP AI training
Plan by plan, from what WHOOP's own policy says about refusing. Where it publishes the steps, they're listed here with the limits they carry. Where there's nothing to switch off, or nothing graded, this says so instead of inventing a menu path.

What this policy has done since we started watching
The record starts here. WHOOP's policy was first captured on 6 Sept 2026, and there's no earlier copy to compare it against, so this verdict has no history behind it yet. From now on every re-read is diffed against that copy, and anything that moves appears here.
