Does Black Forest Labs train on your data?
Black Forest Labs trains on your data by default. There is an opt-out, and it works by emailing them with the right subject line.
"If you object to us using your data for training and improvement purposes, you can contact us at privacy@blackforestlabs.ai using the subject heading "Training Opt Out" and providing your account details."

How we read it: The opt-out is real and the policy is specific about how to use it, which is more than many manage — but it is an email to a privacy address with the subject "Training Opt Out" and your account details, not a setting. Refusing therefore requires identifying yourself and waiting, and the policy does not say whether it applies to data already used.
object, Training Opt Out, opt out, contact us, by default, default
What the document does offer
- "If you object to us using your data for training and improvement purposes, you can contact us at privacy@blackforestlabs.ai using the subject heading ‘Training Opt Out’ and providing your account details" — named for training, with an address and a required subject line
- "Our website is not configured to respond to ‘Do Not Track’ or similar opt-out preference signals unless required by law"
- "default" appears zero times in the capture
Why none of it applies: An email with a prescribed subject line, which is precise about the mechanism and says nothing about the outcome — no undertaking to act, no timescale, and no statement of what state the account is in before you write. Naming the subject heading makes the route usable; it does not make it a setting, which is why this stays D.

How to opt out of Black Forest Labs AI training
Plan by plan, from what Black Forest Labs's own policy says about refusing. Where it publishes the steps, they're listed here with the limits they carry. Where there's nothing to switch off, or nothing graded, this says so instead of inventing a menu path.

Yes, but not self-serve: Black Forest Labs makes you contact support.
- Email privacy@blackforestlabs.ai with the subject heading "Training Opt Out".
- Include your account details and say you object to your data being used for training and improvement.
What this policy has done since we started watching
The record starts here. Black Forest Labs (FLUX)'s policy was first captured on 14 Aug 2026, and there's no earlier copy to compare it against, so this verdict has no history behind it yet. From now on every re-read is diffed against that copy, and anything that moves appears here.

Vendor response
We wrote to Black Forest Labs (FLUX) on 25 Aug 2026, quoting the clauses above and inviting a correction. Nothing has come back. That's published because a company declining to comment on its own policy is something a reader should know, and because the invitation should be on the record whether or not it's taken up. Any reply goes here, word for word.
