Does Leonardo.Ai train on your data?
Leonardo analyses the images and prompts in your account to train its own models, and names no way to stop it.
No opt-out found in this policy
"For Service improvement (including analytics and machine learning): We may analyse your Content and related data in your account to improve the Service, and to train our algorithms, models, and AI products and services using machine learning to develop, improve and provide our Service."

How we read it: The clause is explicit about the input — "your Content and related data in your account" — and about the output, which is Leonardo's own algorithms, models and AI products. For an image-generation service the content is what users made and often what they uploaded to make it from. The document offers no setting, no email route and no plan on which this does not happen.

How to opt out of Leonardo.Ai training
Plan by plan, from what Leonardo.Ai's own policy says about refusing. Where it publishes the steps, they're listed here with the limits they carry. Where there's nothing to switch off, or nothing graded, this says so instead of inventing a menu path.

No opt-out is stated in the policy on file for Leonardo.Ai.
What this policy has done since we started watching
The record starts here. Leonardo.Ai's policy was first captured on 8 Jul 2026, and there's no earlier copy to compare it against, so this verdict has no history behind it yet. From now on every re-read is diffed against that copy, and anything that moves appears here.

Vendor response
We wrote to Leonardo.Ai on 1 Sept 2026, quoting the clauses above and inviting a correction. Nothing has come back. That's published because a company declining to comment on its own policy is something a reader should know, and because the invitation should be on the record whether or not it's taken up. Any reply goes here, word for word.
