Does Cresta train on your data?

Cresta says it customises its models with customer data, with personal details redacted. Whether one company's calls train models that serve another, none of its documents says.

EVIDENCE 01 OF 01

This clause is real, but it doesn't resolve the training question - see the finding below.

"Cresta meticulously balances fairness at the model level by leveraging diverse datasets, customizing models with proprietary customer data, and mitigating biases through robust monitoring."

Why this is still UNCLEAR: Cresta's privacy policy has no training language, and its products are sold to contact centres under agreements this site can't read. Two of its own pages go further. The Responsible AI page says it works on fairness "by leveraging diverse datasets, customizing models with proprietary customer data, and mitigating biases through robust monitoring", and that no protected signals such as medical or financial metadata are used "in the process of training our models". The trust page says its models are "trained on diverse data, tailored to each customer", and that "all PII is automatically redacted". So customer data is used to adapt the models. Whether one customer's data trains a model that serves another, the pages don't say.

How to opt out of Cresta AI training

Plan by plan, from what Cresta's own policy says about refusing. Where it publishes the steps, they're listed here with the limits they carry. Where there's nothing to switch off, or nothing graded, this says so instead of inventing a menu path.

Not graded, so no route is pointed at. Cresta's privacy policy has no training language, and its products are sold to contact centres under agreements this site can't read. 6 CAPTURES SINCE 14 AUG 2026

No change detected. We've held a copy of Cresta's documents since 14 Aug 2026 and re-read them since, across 6 captures of 4 documents. The text hasn't moved in a way that touches this verdict. That's a fact about the documents, and it's only knowable by having kept the earlier copies.

Vendor response

From the company? What a reply does and what moves a grade.

We wrote to Cresta on 19 Aug 2026, quoting the clauses above and inviting a correction. Nothing has come back. That's published because a company declining to comment on its own policy is something a reader should know, and because the invitation should be on the record whether or not it's taken up. Any reply goes here, word for word.
