Does Docusign train on your data?

Docusign says it designs its systems to avoid training on what customers enter — except with customer consent. The consent belongs to the account holder, not the person signing.

How we read it: A section headed "AI Model Training" states the design intent directly, and the training that does happen is on de-identified Customer Data with customer consent. Both halves matter: de-identification is stated flatly rather than hedged with "where possible", and consent rather than legitimate interest is the basis, which is what separates this from the D-grade entries where training runs until you stop it. The word to read carefully is "customer". Docusign's customer is the organisation with the account, not the person who receives a document and signs it. A signer is the subject of the content and has no part in the consent this grade rests on.

How to opt out of Docusign AI training

Plan by plan, from what Docusign's own policy says about refusing. Where it publishes the steps, they're listed here with the limits they carry. Where there's nothing to switch off, or nothing graded, this says so instead of inventing a menu path.

Nothing to switch off: training here is off until an opt-in is given.
